West African Resources Reports Higher Q2 Gold Production, Sales
West African Resources (ASX:WAF) produced 125,179 ounces of gold across its Sanbrado and Kiaka gold production centres in Burkina Faso in the second quarter of the year, up from 45,611 ounces in the same period last year, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing. The company said Q2 gold sales totalled 110,737 ounces at a realized price of $4,556 per ounce, compared with 49,840 ounces at an average price of $3,282 per ounce in the prior corresponding period. West African Resources remains on track to achieve its full-year production guidance of 430,000 to 490,000 ounces of gold, the filing said.
