Curis Consents 6 Patients in Phase 2 Trial of Emavusertib in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Curis (CRIS) said Monday it has consented the first six patients in a phase 2 study of emavusertib in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, or CLL, just days after opening 11 clinical sites for enrollment. The biotechnology company said it continues to expect to dose the first five trial participants by the end of July and release initial data in December. The open-label study will evaluate emavusertib combined with BeOne Medicines' (ONC) zanubrutinib, the company said.
