S&P Global June Final Services PMI Revised Down, Still Above May Index
The S&P Global US services index was revised slightly downward to 51.2 in June from the 51.3 flash reading, compared with expectations for no revision in a survey compiled. The June index is still above the 50.7 reading in May. The regional services data previously released were mixed. S&P Global noted that inflationary pressures remained elevated due to tariff and higher fuel prices, though there has been some easing since May. "Confidence in the outlook improved in June to the highest since February," S&P Global said.
