Glenfarne Group to Supply LNG to Private Commodities Trader BGN
Glenfarne Global Commodities, a branch of Glenfarne Group, has entered an agreement to supply 1 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas to private commodities trading group BGN, Glenfarne said on Friday. The two companies plan to reach a definitive 20-year sales-purchase agreement for Glenfarne to supply BGN with LNG from Glenfarne's LNG export project in Brownsville, Texas. Glenfarne's LNG platform and a growing production portfolio make it a "compelling long-term partner," BGN's Group Chief Operating Officer Wael Amer was quoted in the statement.
