Catheter Precision Says Patents Granted for VIVO System, Cardionomix Heart Failure Technology

Catheter Precision (VTAK) said Monday it was notified about the issuance of patents covering its View Into Ventricular Onset, or VIVO, 3D imaging system and Cardionomix heart failure technology. A newly issued European patent for VIVO protects a method to identify, prior to ablation, the exact location of abnormal heart rhythms using data stored in implanted devices like pacemakers, the company said. The second patent involves clearing up physiological signals during electrical nerve stimulation, Catheter Precision said.
