Sector Update: Consumer
Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) down 0.4% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) marginally advancing. Arcos Dorados (ARCO) shares were up more than 2% after the company said it will redeem all of its outstanding 6.125% sustainability-linked senior notes due 2029.
