China's Logistics Business Activity Rises in June

The logistics business activity index rose to 50.6% in June from 50.3% a month earlier, Xinhua reported Sunday, citing data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. Nine of the 12 sub-indices stayed above the neutral threshold, and the business volume and new order indices posted an increase from the previous month, the report said. The electronic and mechanical equipment, telecommunications and transportation equipment, and energy-saving home appliances led the increases among sectors that rose within the manufacturing logistics, according to the media outlet.
