Axial Retailing June Sales Climb, Traffic Falls

Axial Retailing's (TYO:8255) all-store sales in June climbed 0.3% year over year, while same-store sales fell 0.4%, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The company also said customer traffic was down 1.3% overall and 2% at existing stores. Average spending per customer rose 1.7% across all stores and 1.6% at existing stores.
