North Media Probes Unauthorized External Access on IT Infrastructure of Swedish Unit

North Media (NORTHM.CO) is investigating an unauthorized external access on the IT infrastructure of its Swedish subsidiary SDR Svensk Direktreklam. In a July 4 release, the Danish media group said it is working with SDR, external security experts and legal advisers to determine whether the incident affected personally identifiable information or customer data. The group said it already notified relevant authorities in Sweden, and assured that SDR maintained normal day-to-day operations amid the incident.
