Equus Energy Appoints Chair; Shares Up 5%

Equus Energy (ASX:EQU) appointed Grant Davey as non-executive chairman, effective immediately, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse. Davey succeeds Brendan Jesser, who has retired as chairman, per the filing. Davey currently holds the position of non-executive chairman at Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU), the filing added. Equus Energy's shares rose 5% in recent Monday trade.
