Midas Minerals Says Namibia Prospect Drilling Confirms Copper, Silver Mineralization

Midas Minerals (ASX:MM1) said drilling at the Spaatzu prospect at its Otavi copper project in Namibia confirmed significant copper and silver mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing. It encountered intercepts of 52 meters at 1.19% grade of copper, 8.7 grams-per-tonne grade of silver, 1.93% grade of lead from 148 meters, as well as 16 meters at 0.76% grade of copper, 26.8 g/t grade of silver, 2.36% grade of lead, 215 parts-per-million grade of molybdenum from 205 meters. It also began exploration on the Khorixas West project, with rock chip sampling returning values up to 30.8% grade of copper, 4.26 g/t grade of gold, and 149 g/t grade of silver.
