Rio Tinto Group Says JPMorgan Chase Becomes Substantial Holder

Rio Tinto Group (ASX:RIO) said that JPMorgan Chase and its affiliates acquired voting power of 5.13%, making them substantial holders as of July 1, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing. The bank holds 19.1 million ordinary shares of the mining giant. Rio Tinto's shares gained about 1% in recent Monday trade.
