Skanska to Build NOK1.1 Billion Production Facility for Hydro in Norway
Construction company Skansa (SKA-B.ST) signed an agreement to build a new aluminum wire rod production facility in Karmøy, Norway, for aluminum producer Norsk Hydro (NHY.OL). The contract to build a new production line with an annual capacity of 110,000 tons of aluminum wire rod is valued at 1.1 billion Norwegian kroner. Construction is underway and is expected to be completed by March 2028.
