Galloper Gold Enters into Partnership with Tripp Marine
Galloper Gold (BOOM.CN) late Thursday said it signed a partnership with Tripp Marine for heavy equipment barging operations for its flagship Glover Island Project in Newfoundland. The company entered into the non-binding, multi-year, partnership "at market costs for each barging trip," on July 1, it said. The contract, expected to operate to 2030, also provides for the possibility of extensions if necessary, added Galloper. "Galloper has chosen to operate with Tripp Marine to transport the project's heavy equipment," said Galloper's VP of Exploration Bryan Sparrow. "Mobilization operations for heavy equipment have begun and are being carried out in a staged process. Leading into its drill program, Galloper is launching into a trenching program targeting surficial exposures of mineralization. This allows for a very competitive geochemical sampling and evaluation program in advance of follow-up drilling." Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at C$0.065 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
