Nexans Closes EUR207 Million Divestment of Autoelectric Unit to Motherson

Nexans (NEX.PA) completed the sale of its Autoelectric business to Samvardhana Motherson International for 207 million euros. The disposal of the wiring harness business marks the final step in the French cable manufacturer's transition into a pure electrification company, according to a Friday release. Nexans noted that Autoelectric was reported as discontinued operations since 2025 and that its contributions are not included in the company's 2026 guidance.
