BofA: Leonardo SpA to See Continued 'Strong' Momentum in Q2; EPS Estimates Raised
Leonardo SpA's (LDO.MI) revenue is projected to come in higher than expectations in the second quarter amid continued strong momentum, BofA Global Research said in a Thursday earnings preview note. The research firm expects the Italian aerospace and defense group's revenue to reach 5.4 billion euros, with orders amounting to 5.5 billion euros, both 2% ahead of consensus. EBITA is anticipated to stand at 516 million euros, 10% above market forecasts. "H1'26 will mark CEO Lorenzo Mariani's first results presentation following the abrupt departure of his predecessor in April. We believe his messaging on group strategy and commitment to the industrial plan presented in March will be as important as the results themselves. Mr Mariani brings over 35 years of experience at Leonardo, and we therefore expect a high degree of continuity in strategic priorities," analysts said. With this in mind, analysts raised their EPS estimates for 2026 through 2030 by 2%. The stock's buy rating and price objective of 79.50 euros were left unchanged.
