First Northwest Bancorp (Nasdaq: FNWB), the holding company for First Fed Bank, announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company reported a net loss of $743,000, or $0.08 per basic and diluted share, compared to net income of $308,000 in the second quarter of 2026 and $802,000 in the third quarter of 2025. Management attributed the quarterly loss to a higher provision for credit losses and the settlement of a previously disclosed legal matter.

Despite these factors, the company noted progress in its core banking franchise, including stable net interest income, growth in customer deposits, and a slight expansion of the net interest margin to 2.96%. CEO Curt Queyrouze stated that the company remains well-capitalized and is focused on strategic initiatives to improve long-term profitability.
