BioNTech Said to Scout Potential Buyers for German Sites

Biopharmaceutical company BioNTech (22UA.F) is scouting buyers for its German sites marked for closure, Reuters noted that BioNTech announced in May that it plans to close the Idar-Oberstein, Marburg and Tuebingen sites by the end of 2027. The company has held confidential talks with potential buyers, according to Handelsblatt. BioNTech did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
