Gift's All Store Sales Jumps 22% in June
Gift's (TYO:9279) all store sales jumped 21.9% year on year in June, according to a filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Friday. The ramen restaurant operator said the number of customers grew about 22% in June, while average spending remained flat. During the month, same-store sales increased by 3.9%. Excluding stores closed for refurbishment, same-store sales were up 3%. The group's store count went up to 298 from 249 a year ago.
