HCL Technologies Bags AI Deal Worth $1.4 Billion; Shares Surge

HCL Technologies (NSE:HCLTECH, BOM:532281) secured an order valued at $1.14 billion from an undisclosed Europe-based Fortune Global 50 company, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges. The contract is for establishing an AI-driven operating model for the client's global digital workplace and enterprise networks. Its initial term runs to December 2031 and the contract comes with a five-year extension. Shares jumped nearly 7% in recent trade.
