Hiday Hidaka's June Sales Increase 6%

Hiday Hidaka (TYO:7611) said all store sales increased over 6.2% year on year in June, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. During the month, the restaurant chain operator logged a 4.1% increase in customer traffic and a 1.9% rise in average customer spending at all stores. Existing store sales gained 3.4%, with the number of customers up 1.5% and sales per customer up 1.9%. The total number of directly operated stores stood at 471 as of the end of June, up from 461 in the year-ago period.
