Asahi Reports 4.2% Sales Growth in June

Asahi (TYO:3333) reported a 4.2% year-on-year increase in net sales for June, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Customer numbers inched up 0.1% during the period from May 21 to June 20, while sales per customer gained 4.2%. At existing stores, sales increased 3.1%, with customer numbers down 1.1% and spending per customer up 4.2%.
