Sany Renewable Energy Proposes Share Buyback of Up to 200 Million Yuan
Sany Renewable Energy (SHA:688349) proposed to repurchase shares worth between 100 million yuan and 200 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday. Between 4.5 million shares and 9.1 million shares shares will be bought back with a maximum repurchase price of 22.07 yuan per share within 12 months through centralized bidding after the board of directors' approval. The repurchased shares, which would represent between 0.28% and 0.57% of the company's total shares, will be used for the energy company's an employee stock ownership plan or equity incentive plan. The company's shares rose 2% at the close.
