Afari's June Sales Drop 18%; Shares Up 5%

Chongqing Afari Technology's (SHA:601777) sales for June dropped 18% year on year to 8,311 units, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday. Among these, was the sales of new energy vehicles, or NEVs, which recorded a 77% slump to 682 units. The vehicle manufacturer's output fell 3.6% year on year to 7,940 units. The company's shares jumped 5% during the afternoon trade.
