Bluspring Enterprises Unit Secures INR14.4 Billion O&M Contract; Shares Jump 6%

Bluspring Enterprises (NSE:BLUSPRING, BOM:544414) said its step-down subsidiary STEAG Energy Services (India) has secured a five-year operations and maintenance contract worth about 14.4 billion rupees from Vedanta Aluminium & Power. The contract is for a 1,215 MW captive power plant and will begin on Aug. 1, according to a stock exchange filing on Friday. Shares of the company jumped nearly 6% in recent trade.
