In domestic news, consumer confidence in New Zealand gained spirit in June, returning to levels seen in March but still below its January peak, ANZ Research said. In corporate news, Scott Technology (NZE:SCT) appointed Anthony Wesney and Scott Hawkins as interim co-chief financial officers, effective July 6. Santana Minerals (ASX:SMI, NZE:SMI) filed a memorandum with New Zealand's Environmental Protection Authority requesting that the processing of the Bendigo-Ophir gold project's fast-track approvals application be resumed on Aug. 17.
