Sambhv Steel Tubes Total Sales Volume Rises in Fiscal Q1
Sambhv Steel Tubes' (NSE:SAMBHV, BOM:544430) total sales volume rose to 107,771 tons in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, from 92,706 tons recorded a year ago, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges. During the June quarter, the company saw its highest-ever sales volume of value-added products of 101,191 tons from 79,717 tons a year earlier. The growth was driven by the sales in the pre-galvanized coils and pipes and stainless steel coils segment. Intermediate products' sales volume, however, plunged to 6,580 tons in the reported quarter from 12,989 tons in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company's shares were up nearly 1% in Friday's trade.
