Genfit's Liver Disease Blood Test Approved for US Medicare Reimbursement

Genfit (GNFT.PA) said Thursday its non-invasive blood test Nashnext was approved for coverage and future reimbursement by US Medicare. The Paris-listed biopharmaceutical company, which licensed the test to Labcorp, added that the reimbursements are set to become effective from Aug. 10. Nashnext is a diagnostic test for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, a form of fatty liver disease.
