Elkem CEO to Become Chairman, Successor Named

Metals and materials company Elkem (ELK.OL) appointed Dag Teigland as its new chief executive officer, effective Aug. 3, according to a Thursday release. Teigland currently serves as the executive chairman of advanced materials and plasma technology company Tekna (TEKNA.OL) and will succeed Helge Aasen, who will assume the chairman position.
