Newron Pharmaceuticals to Make Changes to Phase 3 Trial of Schizophrenia Treatment
Newron Pharmaceuticals (NWRN.SW) said Thursday it agreed to make changes to the phase 3 Enigma-TRS trial of evenamide as a treatment for schizophrenia to allay concerns of the US Food and Drug Administration. The regulator ordered the suspension of patient enrollment for the study in the US following the death of a trial participant at a clinical site outside the country, the biopharmaceutical company said.
