Worldline, ING Trial AI-powered Payment Transaction with Visa in Germany
Worldline (WLN.PA) and ING Groep (INGA.AS) partnered with digital payments company Visa for a pilot test of an artificial intelligence-powered payment transaction in Germany. The French payment services company and the Dutch lender joined Visa's Agentic Ready Programme as part of the collaboration, according to a Thursday release. Worldline said the live, end-to-end agent-driven payment transaction demonstrated that AI-enabled services can be carried out securely under existing regulations.
