Island Pharmaceuticals Requests Trading Halt Pending Antiviral Drug Candidate Trial Update

Island Pharmaceuticals (ASX:ILA) requested a trading halt on the Australian Securities Exchange, pending an update regarding the potential inclusion of its antiviral candidate, galidesivir, in an Ebola clinical trial in Africa, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse. The halt will remain in effect until the earlier of the company releasing the update or the commencement of trading on July 7, the filing added.
