Rheinmetall Expects Q2 Nomination Volume Impact from F126 Program Cancellation
Rheinmetall (RHM.F) expects its Rheinmetall Nomination volume to reach a low double-digit euro billion level in the second quarter, following the German defense ministry's decision to cancel the F126 frigate program. The German arms maker, however, said it expects to meet its second-quarter revenue growth rate forecast of over 60%, despite an estimated 20 billion-euro shortfall in its quarterly Rheinmetall Nomination, according to a Thursday release. Rheinmetall is still investigating any additional impact on its full-year guidance, adding that the 2026 revenue impact could hit up to 300 million euros if mitigating measures are not implemented.
