China Shenhua Energy Brings Two 660-Megawatt Units Online
China Shenhua Energy (SHA:601088) said Unit Five of its Dingzhou Phase Three and Cangdong Phase Three power expansion projects passed 168-hour trial runs and entered commercial operation, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse. The two 660-megawatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired units are key energy infrastructure under Hebei's 14th Five-Year Plan, featuring net coal consumption rates of 270.0 grams per kilowatt-hour and 268.5 g/kWh, respectively. Unit Six at both sites is expected to launch soon.
