The FTSE 100 Index Opens 0.55% Higher

The FTSE 100 Index is picking up 59 points or 0.55 percent on Thursday. Gains are led by Shell (3.16%), BAE Systems (2.57%) and 3i (2.17%). Biggest losers are Haleon (-12.09%), St. Jamess (-3.26%) and Lloyds Banking (-2.84%).
