The FTSE 100 Index Closes 0.03% Higher

The FTSE 100 Index rose 3 points or 0.03 percent on Wednesday to close at 10690 points. Leading the gains are Whitbread (5.13%), SSE (4.34%) and Centrica (3.49%). Top losers were Barratt Redrow (-6.83%), GlaxoSmithKline (-5.38%) and Informa (-3.03%).
