CAC 40 Ends Flat Amid Mixed Corporate Earnings

The CAC 40 closed nearly flat at 7,889 on Wednesday after two consecutive sessions of gains, as investors assessed a mixed batch of corporate earnings. Stellantis surged 15.2% after reporting improved Q3 operating income and reaffirming its full-year guidance. Danone rose 2.9% on higher sales, supported by price increases and resilient demand. Rémy Cointreau fell 2% despite better-than-expected Q2 sales, while BNP Paribas slipped 0.1% despite higher revenue and a new share buyback program. Dassault Systèmes dropped 4.3% despite beating earnings expectations and raising its full-year outlook. Airbus reports after the close, followed by Société Générale and TotalEnergies on Thursday, and Crédit Agricole and Sanofi on Friday. The ECB is also set to announce its policy decision on Thursday, with rates widely expected to remain unchanged.
