December corn futures finished 6'4 cents higher at 436'4, driven by quarterly corn stocks coming in below the low end of estimates at 5.295 billion bushels. November soybean futures rose 4'4 cents to 1143'4, with planted acres meeting expectations at 85.37 million. December Chicago wheat futures gained 6'0 cents to close at 603'0 as all-wheat acreage missed analyst estimates by about 1 million acres.
