Duke Energy Expands Brunswick Nuclear Plant Emergency Zones

Duke Energy is expanding the plant’s emergency planning zones from 13 to 20 while keeping the total 10-mile radius unchanged. An interactive map is expected to be available November 2, 2026, with informational postcards planned for affected properties in early November.
