European Stocks Rise for 2nd Day

European equities rose for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, with the Stoxx 50 gaining 0.8% and the Stoxx 600 advancing 0.5%, supported by lower oil prices. Italy climbed 0.8%, while Germany and Spain added 0.7% and France rose 0.4%; the UK market bucked the trend, falling 0.7%. Mining and technology stocks led gains, while personal care and automakers underperformed. Brent crude declined amid renewed diplomatic efforts to end the US-Iran conflict. However, corporate earnings remained a source of pressure: HSBC fell 5.4% after missing third-quarter profit expectations, while Reckitt dropped 4.9% after lowering its sales outlook due to supply constraints in the US and weaker vitamin sales in China. Porsche gained 3.8%, as profitability proved resilient despite declining vehicle deliveries.
