Namib Minerals’ How Mine Milling Plant Reaches Full Capacity

The expanded plant is processing approximately 55,000 tonnes per month, up 36% from 40,500 tonnes. It reached full capacity ahead of the original end-December 2026 timeline. The company plans to issue 2027 production and cost guidance in Q1 2027.

Namib Minerals announced that the expanded milling plant at its How Mine in Zimbabwe is now operating at its full capacity of approximately 55,000 tonnes per month. This represents a 36% increase from the previous processing capacity of 40,500 tonnes per month. The company achieved this milestone ahead of its original timeline, which had anticipated reaching full capacity by the end of December 2026. Management stated that the expansion is expected to alleviate milling constraints and allow the company to distribute its existing cost base across higher production volumes.

The company plans to provide formal 2027 production and cost guidance, including contributions from the Redwing Mine, in the first quarter of 2027.
