DAX Starts Week on Positive Note

Frankfurt's DAX 40 rose 0.5% to around 25,300 on Monday, trying to recover ground after last week's weakness, amid relief from lower oil prices and some easing pressure on bond yields. Meanwhile, investors braced for a busy week of key economic and policy announcements, as well as a fresh batch of corporate earnings. Sector-wise, industrials, banks and pharma & healthcare were the standout performers. Bayed led gains among stocks, climbing 2.5%, after its prostate cancer drug Nubeqa demonstrated a 58% reduction in the risk of disease progression or death in high-risk patients.
