Thailand September exports rise 24.0% year on year, above forecast

Thailand's customs-cleared exports (THCEX=ECI) rose 24.0% in September from a year earlier, the commerce ministry said on Monday, higher than analysts expected.The September reading compared with a forecast rise of 17.85% in a Reuters poll and followed an increase of 24.3% in the previous month.
