Ivonescimab Shows Overall Survival Benefit in Phase III BTC Trial
Summit Therapeutics said partner Akeso’s Phase III HARMONi-GI1 trial found ivonescimab plus chemotherapy improved overall survival versus durvalumab plus chemotherapy in first-line advanced biliary tract cancer. The overall-survival hazard ratio was 0.75 (one-sided p=0.0031); progression-free survival also improved (HR=0.61), with higher ORR and DCR. The company described safety as manageable in the China study.
