India's September Crude Imports Rise 16% to 22.26 Million Tons
India imported 22.26 million metric tons of crude oil in September, up more than 16% from August and 9% from a year earlier, government data showed.
Government figures released Friday showed that India imported 22.26 million metric tons of crude oil in September, an increase of more than 16% from the previous month. The Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell data also showed imports were 9% higher than the 20.35 million tons recorded in September last year.
