QatarEnergy Signs US LNG Supply Deal With Cheniere
QatarEnergy signed an agreement to buy liquefied natural gas from Cheniere Energy. The report says the deal comes as disruption in the Strait of Hormuz drags on.
QatarEnergy signed an agreement on Thursday to buy 4 million metric tons per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas from U.S. producer Cheniere Energy (NYSE: LNG). The deal is one of the largest LNG agreements in U.S. history.
QatarEnergy is the world's largest LNG exporter.
