Asian cash markets finished lower: the Nikkei 225 closed down 2.65 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 4.01 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 2.07 percent, the KOSPI closed down 3.52 percent and the ASX 200 closed down 0.27 percent. Asian volume leaders were Alibaba down 6.27 percent, Xiaomi down 3.88 percent, Tencent down 3.1 percent, AIA Group down 1.46 percent and SoftBank Group down 6.86 percent.
