Iberdrola Raises 2026 Profit Growth Guidance After Nine-Month Results
Iberdrola reported nine-month net profit up 9.6% year over year, revenue up 6.2% and adjusted EBITDA up 7.5%. It raised its 2026 adjusted net profit growth outlook to at least 10% from over 8%.
Iberdrola posted net profit of 5.82 billion euros in the first nine months of 2026, up 9.6% from the same period in 2025. Revenue increased 6.2% to 34.41 billion euros, and adjusted EBITDA advanced 7.5% to 11.89 billion euros. The networks business was a key contributor: adjusted profit rose nearly 15%, supported by growth in regulated assets and higher rates in the U.S. and Brazil.
This offset a 1.5% decline in the power and customers segment. Investment totaled 10.09 billion euros, up 13%, with over 75% directed to the U.K., U.S. and Brazil. After the results, Iberdrola lifted its 2026 outlook and now expects adjusted net profit growth of at least 10%, compared with its previous forecast of over 8%.
