UK Government Approves Extraction From Jackdaw Gas Field

LONDON (dpa-AFX) — The UK government has approved gas extraction from the Jackdaw field in the North Sea. The field is due to begin supplying gas to British homes and businesses from the end of this month, after the Energy Secretary agreed that the regulator could grant production consent.
