Ethereum and Solana Staking Yields Decline as Staked Capital Rises

Bitwise’s Q3 2026 report says Ethereum ended the quarter with 43.80 million ETH staked, or 35.9% of supply, while annualized yield fell to 2.63% from 2.81%. Solana’s active stake rose to 440.5 million SOL, or 69% of supply, as gross yield slipped to 5.99% from 6.38%.
